The MDVIP Foundation is bringing people together to make better lifestyle choices. Our focus on prevention and education is inspiring communities globally – big and small – to think healthy, live healthy and be healthy.
Operating Principles

Provide financial assistance in times of natural disasters and medical emergencies
Natural disasters impacted approximately 1 in 10 homes in 2021, according to CoreLogic.*
The MDVIP Foundation has provided swift relief to doctors, staff, and communities in areas affected by hurricanes, tornados, floods, and other disasters and medical emergencies.
Raise public awareness of the value of wellness and prevention in healthcare
Only 2% of medical students recently polled indicated an interest in practicing primary care.**
From primary care mentorship program to salad bars for children, the MDVIP Foundation is committed to raising awareness for diverse wellness and prevention initiatives.

Initiatives
Charitable and Compassionate Service
This program supports a coalition of MDVIP-affiliated physicians willing to provide medical aid to those in underserved areas, no matter where they are located. The MDVIP Foundation will organize and offer financial assistance to a network of volunteer physicians willing to travel to even the most remote areas offering much needed medical care that many have gone without.
Disaster Relief
The MDVIP Foundation has donated funds to doctors, staff, and communities in several states that have been affected directly by natural disasters and medical emergencies.
Awareness for Wellness and Prevention
The MDVIP Foundation is committed to raising awareness for programs that will improve wellness and prevention in diverse ways. From encouraging doctors to go into primary care to serving children at salad bars to supporting local physician-led community gardens, the Foundation is here to help make the world a healthier place.
The Board
The MDVIP Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 in Boca Raton, Florida. It is the charitable arm of MDVIP, LLC, a national network of primary care physicians who focus on personalized, preventive healthcare. Through our board and initiatives, we are able to tap into resources and people across the country who are passionate about educating and encouraging Americans to put their health and well-being first.
Michael Cromwell, CSBDO
Director of the MDVIP Foundation
Michael Cromwell is a Director of the MDVIP Foundation and the Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer of MDVIP. Prior to joining MDVIP in 2015, Mike spent time at Ascension Health Care Network, a hospital acquisition company, and Castlight Health, a digital health company. Mike started his career on Wall Street, spending five total combined years in investment banking (at Lehman Brothers and Barclays) and private equity (at Oak Hill Capital). From the beginning, his career has been solely focused on businesses and transactions in the healthcare industry.
Dr. Andrea Klemes
Director of the MDVIP Foundation
Dr. Andrea Klemes is a Director of the MDVIP Foundation. Dr. Klemes is the Chief Medical Officer of MDVIP and is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. She received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at Cabrini Medical Center in Manhattan, New York and an Endocrine and Metabolism Fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Klemes worked at Procter & Gamble in the areas of personal healthcare, women’s health and digestive wellness and served as North American Medical Director for bone health. She spent 10 years in private practice specializing in endocrinology and metabolism in Tallahassee, Florida. Dr. Klemes has held leadership roles with the American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association and as Medical Director of the Diabetes Center in Tallahassee and Panama City, Florida, as well as Chief of the Department of Medicine at Tallahassee Community Hospital. She has been a consultant and frequent lecturer and has completed broad clinical research in diabetes and osteoporosis and published extensively.
Dr. Ralph Lanza
Director of the MDVIP Foundation
Ralph A. Lanza, MD, FACP, is a Director of the MDVIP Foundation and an internal medicine doctor in Paoli, PA. Dr. Lanza is an MDVIP-affiliated physician and board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He studied medicine at the University of Rochester, School of Medicine and Dentistry and performed his internal medicine residency at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He has been recognized as a top doctor by the Philadelphia Magazine, Consumer's Research Council of Americas, Delaware Valley Consumers' Checkbook, Main Line Today Magazine, Castle Connolly and the U.S. News Media Group. He was elected to the American College of Physicians in 2007. He has also conducted multiple medical missions to Haiti and has served on multiple medical committees and initiatives. Outside of Dr. Lanza’s medical career, he is interested in sports, theater, music and sports memorabilia.
Dr. Robert Dimski
Director of the MDVIP Foundation
Robert C. Dimski, MD, is a Director of the MDVIP Foundation and a family medicine doctor in Midwest City, OK. Dr. Dimski is an MDVIP-affiliated physician and board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. He graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center medical school in San Antonio and did his residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. He was named one of the Best Doctors in America in 2014 and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Scott Hammer
Director of the MDVIP Foundation
Scott A. Hammer, MD, FAAFP, is a Director of the MDVIP Foundation and a family medicine doctor Milford, DE. He is an MDVIP-affiliated physician and board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Family Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He is also an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Instructor, a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and a Swiftwater Rescue Technician. Dr. Hammer graduated from Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He has been recognized by Delaware Today Magazine and received the Planetree Physician Champion Award. He is the medical director for Compassionate Care Hospice and is a trustee of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Delaware. Dr. Hammer speaks English and Spanish.
Dr. Michele Leder
Director of the MDVIP Foundation
Michele Leder, MD, FACP, is a Director of the MDVIP Foundation and an internal medicine doctor in Pearl River, New York. She is an MDVIP-affiliated physician and board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also a Bale Doneen Endorsed Provider. Dr. Leder graduated medical school from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, New York and did her residency at the Montefiore medical center. She served as a medical director of the Medical Arts Pavilion, Montefiore Medical Group and as an assistant professor of medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is an assistant professor of medicine at New York Medical College. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Leder is an Attending Physician and member of the Medical Executive Committee at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center as well as an Attending Physician at Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Dr. Leder speaks Spanish and English.
Dr. Gay Purcell
Director of the MDVIP Foundation
Kulnarin Gay Purcell, MD, is a Director of the MDVIP Foundation and an internal medicine doctor in Independence, Missouri. She is an MDVIP-affiliated physician and board certified in internal medicine and lifestyle medicine. She is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, where she attended medical school. She did her residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and was Chief Resident. She has received numerous awards from peers and the public for her medical work. Dr. Purcell also sits on the board for Girls on the Run of Greater Kansas City and the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault. Dr. Purcell speaks English and Thai and she has many hobbies and interests including trail running, yoga, reading, cooking, hiking and travel.
Dr. William Healy
Director of the MDVIP Foundation
William M. Healy, MD is a Director of the MDVIP Foundation and an internal medicine doctor Getzville, NY. He is an MDVIP-affiliated physician and board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has additional certifications in geriatrics from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine. He received multiple awards in microbiology, anatomy and pharmacology from the State University of Buffalo. He has been recognized a top doctor by the National Survey of Western New York's Outstanding Physicians. He is the medical director for Aftercare Nursing Services and a clinical instructor of medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine. He is a voting medical staff member at Millard Fillmore Hospitals of Kaleida Health and a preceptor for the Nurse Practitioner Program at Daemen College, Amherst, New York.
Dr. Steve Rosenbaum
Director of the MDVIP Foundation
Steve Rosenbaum, MD, FACP, is a Director of the MDVIP Foundation and an internal medicine doctor in Houston, Texas. He is an MDVIP-affiliated physician and board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Rosenbaum is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Section of General Internal Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine, where he was previously a member of the Executive Faculty Committee. He is a past Section Chief of General Internal Medicine and a former member of the Clinic Practice Leadership Group at the Baylor Clinic. Dr. Rosenbaum graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and did his internship and residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Internal Medicine, the Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society. He has also been published in the Journal of Respiratory Diseases.
Matt Grossman
Treasurer of the MDVIP Foundation
Matt Grossman is the Treasurer of the MDVIP Foundation and has over 10 years of financial management experience. Mr. Grossman is the Director of Finance and Controller at MDVIP with an extensive background in financial reporting, operations and management. He served as the Controller for Charter Schools USA, an Audit Manager for a public accounting firm and has held various positions at multiple financial institutions. Mr. Grossman received his Masters of Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2010.
