I am humbled, honored and very excited to join the talented network of MDVIP physicians. I knew early on in medical school that I wanted to pursue a career in internal medicine, which includes a broad array of topics that are often challenging to understand, but at the same time so fascinating. It is an aging art that still unveils new discoveries on a daily basis. Being able to continually translate these findings into concrete recommendations for patients to improve health, longevity and quality of life is an awesome and gratifying task.
After completing my residency in internal medicine with a focus on primary care in 2010, I landed in hospital medicine for four years, which allowed me to really understand the complications of chronic disease. That experience ignited my desire to focus on prevention and wellness in the primary care setting, which I returned to in 2014. Being a part of MDVIP will afford me the time to engage more effectively with patients, communicate better with specialists and keep myself updated on all the new research. I also offer conveniences, like same- or next-day appointments that start on time, which may be found in concierge medicine practices. I look forward to working closely with my patients in my new MDVIP-affiliated practice to help them achieve better health.
When I am not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children, exercising and playing drums.
