Meet Sarah Morris, MD, FACP

My goal as a MDVIP-affiliated physician is to deliver personalized healthcare with an emphasis on prevention and wellness. In this setting, I will work with each patient in an individual manner to help reach their unique health goals. Patients will benefit from my education, expertise and compassion. The private doctor/patient relationship of an MDVIP-affiliated practice allows me more time to carefully review records and reports, and most importantly, spend more time with each patient.

With over 20 years of private practice in the Monmouth County area, I have developed close, collegiate relationships with area specialists who will aid in your healthcare. Should you need specialist care beyond what is available locally, I will work to coordinate your care at one of the National Centers of Excellence, such as Mayo Clinic and Hospital for Special Surgery, through MDVIP’s Medical Centers of Excellence program.

I am Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in 2014 successfully passed the American Board of Internal Medicine exam for the third time in 20 years which is rare and laudable. I have been named on the Best Doctors in America List several times over the past 10 years. Recently, I was asked to serve on the Monmouth and Ocean County Medical Board of Directors which is the local arm of the College of American Physicians.

There is no "one size fits all" in healthcare and I will use the MDVIP  model to increase the health and well-being of all my patients. I also offer conveniences, like same- or next-day appointments that start on time, which may be found in concierge medicine practices. My private practice will provide a level of care that can help make a happy, healthy future your reality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Doctors who operate in the MDVIP models typically see far fewer patients than traditional primary care doctors. That gives them more time to develop deeper doctor-patient relationships that can lead to better outcomes. They can also offer conveniences that most primary care doctors can’t, including same- and next-day appointments. They’re available after hours for urgent matters. And they have time to focus on prevention. That focus begins with the MDVIP Wellness Program, which patients pay for with their annual membership fee.

Most MDVIP-affiliated primary care practices accept insurance (your physician can tell you whether they accept your specific insurance plan). Your annual fee pays for preventive care medical services that insurance usually doesn’t cover (e.g., advanced diagnostic testing and screenings). Your MDVIP-affiliated physician will continue to bill your insurance and charge copays, co-insurances and deductibles as he or she currently does for other medical services like sick visits.

MDVIP makes wellness and prevention easier by providing your physician with innovative tools and technology. MDVIP supports your physician’s practice and seeks to eliminate barriers to a positive healthcare experience. Your doctor will determine whether and how to incorporate these tools at his/her discretion.

Testimonials from patients of Sarah Morris, MD, FACP

Happy, Healthy and Thankful

from Erin in NJ • April 4, 2024
Having Sarah Morris as my doctor is one of the best decisions I have made. She is kind, caring, and easy to talk to. Since our families have known each other for a long time, there is also history there which is comforting. I would feel like I was in good hands anyway, but the fact that she treats other family members of mine gives me even more peace of mind that she is on the lookout for any Read more...

My respect for Dr. Sarah Morris

from Randi in NJ • March 11, 2024
I first met Dr. Morris when she practiced at Dr. Weinberg’s office. She was on call that weekend when I called with a mild case of asthma. She told me to drink a lot of water and see how I feel in a couple of hours. Needless to say, I recovered without meds! I knew I had found my doctor and I followed her when she started her own practice. She is wonderful and caring! I’m lucky to have her!

Great Advice

from David in NJ • March 11, 2024
During routine health screening a lung nodule was incidentally picked up unrelated to the testing performed. The nodule was fully evaluated and I received treatment guidance from a pulmonologist I know in the community. Sarah told me to get another opinion from someone I didn't know "who didn't know me from Adam and who didn't Love me" for an objective opinion not Read more...

No Drama

from Susan in NJ • March 10, 2024
I have no dramatic story to tell...nothing that shatters the action. My story is that Dr. Sarah Morris' and my relationship has been one of quiet consistent support and respect. At age, 83, I'm not looking for bells and whistles; I'm looking for (and have always looked for) an empathic and knowledgeable doctor. That is Dr. Sarah Morris. She is readily available, "tuned in Read more...

Reluctant Traveler

from Carla in NJ • March 10, 2024

A few years ago,I very much wanted to join a couple of my girls friends on a trip to Paris. They had been speaking about it, and in fact, had already booked their flights and hotel. Being the very reluctant traveler that I am, I was torn between going and having what I knew would be a wonderful time, or staying home in my "Safe Zone". I discussed my apprehensions with Dr. Morris.Dr. Read more...
