My ultimate goal as a primary care physician is to improve the health and quality of life for my patients. With over 20 years of experience in medicine, I have valuable insight about how healthy choices, use of indicated medications and appropriate testing impact the health of patients in a positive way. Taking into account the interactions of social, family and medical influences, I utilize natural and medical tools to formulate individualized healthcare plans with my patients and have them play an active role in their health. I also have long-standing relationships with many specialists in the area, should the need arise. My MDVIP-affiliated practice also offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. Together we will aim to prevent disease, improve your health and, if necessary, treat disease.
While my focus is on preventive medicine which encompasses the key foundations of exercise, nutrition and sleep, I also use my experience in personalized family medicine to tailor treatments of various diseases including but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, anxiety and depression. I provide service to patients throughout the Tidewater and Hampton Roads area.
