Dr. Adrian Douglass is a Super doctor! He has been my primary care physician for more than 10 years, and I am blessed to have a doctor with a genuine concern for my health. He listens to me, and it is so easy to talk with him about my health concerns. Dr. Douglass has high standards and provides quality healthcare. He goes above and beyond routine healthcare such as examinations, prescribing medications, ordering test results, etc. Below are a few examples: An Ophthalmology wanted me to have a procedure to remove some fluid from my brains. I thought this was a drastic procedure. After sharing this information with Dr. Douglass, he suggested that I obtain a second opinion. The second Ophthalmology determined that this procedure was not necessary. Thank you, Dr. Douglass. My Orthopedic surgeon stated that I may need knee surgery if I continue to have knee problems. Of course, Dr. Douglass likes to know everything that is going on with my health. When sharing this information with him, he encouraged me to join a gym with a pool so I can take water aerobics. He further stated that the water takes weight off my knee, and I can also exercise the rest of my body. I did as he suggested. Currently, my knee is so much better, and I have no need for knee surgery. Dr. Douglass monitors my medication very closely. If I am prescribed medication that may harm my health (over time) or may work against another medicine, he will let me know or he will ask me to discontinue taking a certain medicine. This has happened on two separate occasions. I am grateful to Dr. Douglass for counseling me on my diet and encouraging me to exercise regularly; sharing his medical knowledge and health information freely; referring me for specialized care when needed; and monitoring my healthcare for improvements.
