My doctor, Dr. Todd Orszulak, was also my parents doctor. One day my father wasn't feeling right so my mother made him go to see Dr. Orszulak. As you know men don't like to go to doctor's, lol. Dr. immediately did EKG and sent him for a sonogram of his heart. When my father returned to the doctor's office, the Dr told my father he saw a darkness on part of his heart. He sent my father to a… See more

from Kimberly in NJ March 13, 2024 for Richard B. Bullock, MD, FACP
submitted by Kayla

Several years ago, my parents were searching for a new primary care physician as both of their respective MDs were retiring/changing practices. I had served on our local hospital board with Dr Richard Bullock and immediately knew he would be a great fit for them. In addition to his high level of medical competence, he worked collaboratively and thoughtfully with members of the leadership team to… See more

from James in TX March 13, 2024 for James Chanez, MD

I've long had borderline high total cholesterol. But I refuse to take a stating. All my bother markers are good. Previous doctors have tried to prescribe a statin anyway because thats what "guidelines" dictated. Dr. Chanez actually noted how good my other markers are and did not try to prescribe a statin. We are just watching and monitoring together. See more

from James in OH March 13, 2024 for James M. Hochwalt, MD

It was about 3 days after my surgery to remove kidney stones, when I found myself in terrible pain. it was a Saturday morning and my wife drove me to the ER. They found out I had a kidney infection. The ER personnel was great, but the group that did my surgery was not (the surgeon was from my old neighborhood and that is why I choose that group). I was left in the ER for more than 8 hours as… See more

from Marcia in KS March 13, 2024 for Eric A. Huerter, MD

Dr. Huerter was initially my late husband Steve’s physician. I recall the first time that Steve experienced angina. I was not sure what to do and I called Dr. Huerter. Although it was late in the evening Dr. Huerter came by the house to examine him and stayed talking to us for over 30 min. That was so reassuring to me that I could get in touch with him virtually any time of the day. When Steve… See more

Dr. Michael Monaco has been my PCP for 24 years. I trust him completely to make the best decisions for my health. Dr. Monaco is kind, positive, and encouraging. I always look forward to my annual physical, and I leave feeling optimistic about my health, both physical and mental. I dread the day he retires!

from Nana in PA March 13, 2024 for Laura Oppenheim, MD

Dr. Laura Oppenheim has been my PCP for many years. When she became a MDVIP physician I followed her. I made accommodations in my budget for I couldn't imagine her not continuing to treat me. The relationship we've formed through the years enables her to treat me as a person not a only a patient. I value her attention and care. She is a very special person. See more

from Michael in OH March 13, 2024 for Krystine Swannick, MD

Doctor Swannick helped me with my balance issues by teaching me that acceptance of old age requires a positive attitude and work. Chasing miracles is not the best way to handle getting older.
