You Do Not Know What You Have, Until You Need It!

I have been a member of MDVIP for years. My doctor of many years sold her practice and left the Miami area. She was a good doctor however she did not have admitting rights to any of our local hospitals. It was NOT important to me because I had required any hospitalization.

I was recently hospitalized and found out how fortunate I was that she sold her practice to a physician that has admitting rights to our largest local hospital. I arrived in the emergency room of the hospital on Presidents Day. A holiday! When I notified my new MDVIP doctor, Dr. Rigoberto Gonzalez, he immediately notified the hospital and helped with the admission. In addition, he came to the hospital several times and followed up with the specialists. He is a tremendous doctor and now I consider him a friend. I feel I could not have been in better hands.

As I previously mentioned, you don't know what you have, until you need it! In my opinion, it is important that your doctor has admitting rights in your hospital of choice.
