Why not? In this day and age of course I'm grateful for an outstanding Doctor

I met Dr. Gayle Cekada several years ago. When she first moved to San Luis Obispo and was carrying her second child I believe. It was my first experience with a woman doctor. What an amazing experience that was in itself. She represented a different outlook for me immediately as she talked about what her goals were to be in working on my health plan. I thought at the time this approach was a refreshing one. As I was a person who waited until a tooth hurt before I would go to a dentist, or a body part hurt before I would see a doctor, and so on. Soon it became apparent that I needed her as I aged because
of several incidents of events that effected my physical well being as my life unfolded.
She readilly became whatever she had to be to accomodate the needs I had. It didn't seem to matter if it wasn't going well on my end. Admittedly I wasn't the perfect patient. But she never gave up on me as I muddled along and I finally did give up some bad habits and slowly made my way to a better health conscious person. When I fell terribly ill in Maui she became connected with my doctor there and saw to it they were in constant daily contact, both with my doctor there and one of my son's to help me get through the worst of it. I have had a few battles since and she's like a rock and we have had her strength and knowledge that she makes available to help us out of the troubles we are physically in need of. Her growing knowledge and availability are key factors in maintaining our health, have been there for me and my family. We all have been given a special gift to have her as our family doctor. She's been on our journey for quite a while now and we've all grow wiser over the years and she hasn't given up on any of us yet .. which in itself remarkable. I do thank God that she continues to be in my corner during these elderly years of my life and we have every faith in her ability to see me on my way when the time comes. No one could be better counselor and or a doctor for the physical and mental being then Dr. Gayle Cekada during this time of our lives.
