Where do I begin? We have been seeing Dr. Mills for several years now -- even prior to his joining MDVIP. He has helped us through some tough medical issues. My husband is a diabetic who has had many issues with his diabetes and heart problems. Dr. Mills is kind and has a wonderful depth of knowledge. He knows how to listen to patients and their concerns and gives wonderfully practical advice. Dr. Mills has worked with my husband on his myriad problems on numerous occasions. He has given him the encouragement and information that he needed to get and keep his diabetes under better control and to assist with his heart problems. With his diabetes under control, his heart issues have eased. My husband feels so much better.
Recently we talked to Dr. Mills about the possibility of moving to Florida. Dr. Mills was incredibly helpful. He gave us lots to think about -- care management, moving issues, you name it, he covered it with us -- things that we hadn't thought of. We are still evaluating whether or not the move to Florida will be a good one for us, but armed with the information he has given us, we feel certain we can make a good choice.
The only thing we will hate, should we choose to move to Florida, is that Dr. Mills will no longer be our physician. While there are other MDVIP doctors close to the area we would be moving to, they will not be Dr. Mills! Should we move, the doctor who takes over my husband's care will have REALLY BIG shoes to fill. (We have even tried to figure a way where we could live in both our Georgia home and possibly our Florida home, just so we could keep Dr. Mills as our main physician.
