What a doctor should be

When I see Dr. Degnan, she listens and takes me seriously. I can provide vague complaints ("I'm tired" or "I'm foggy") and she will ask questions to better understand what might be going on. She will suggest basic tests to get more information. She has never dismissed a concern of mine and knows me well enough to be direct, straightforward, and clear. She has never talked down to me and often lays out my options so I can make an informed decision. She knows I am smart and strong enough to handle whatever information she has to provide. And she always seems to be on top of the latest developments and medical news. I am grateful for the excellent care Dr. Degnan provides as well as for her friendship and support.
