Here us my submission for Dr. Shinder.

What is the definition of a heroine? A woman admired and emulated for her achievements and qualities. That is how I would describe Dr. Stacey Shinder as she is definitely my heroine.

When I moved down to Florida thirteen years ago I was recommended to a physician and luckily did not seem to need him until I found myself quite ill and tried to get to speak to someone in his office for an appointment. The phone was busy for several hours and I decided to go to the doctors office to see if I could just get an appointment.

You would think that I had committed a crime for having the nerve to ask for an appointment. Grudgingly, they told me to come back in the afternoon as the doctor of my choice could not see me that day but one of his associates would be available. My diagnosis was shingles as I had suspected from the symptoms I had. The worst part of this whole scenario was the next time I had to see the doctor again I was forced to see his associate. I did not like him the first time and I did not want to see him again.

Friends of mine who were seeing Dr. Shinder said that she was a good diagnostician and had a good bedside manner. I called to make an appointment and I knew when I met her it was love at first sight. I have had many health issues and she always came through for me. It was always above and beyond the call of duty.

When Dr. Shinder became part of MDVIP I decided that because of my health issues and as she really knew me that I wanted to remain her patient.

This was the best thing I ever did for my health. How lucky could I be to have one of the best if not the best physician in South Florida?
