Waiting a year to see my Neuralogist for an MRI

Based on my MRI brain image, my neurologist referred me for a blood patch to relieve my spinal fluid leak symptoms in 2021. He stated I could have three patches over a period of time if required to restore my health. The patch worked until now, 2024. In order to receive another patch I needed to get another MRI and referral from my neurologist to the SFL specialist. The only problem was it would take a year to see him to order the MRI. My MDVIP doctor Regina Wright was able to order a follow up MRI right away so we can have a comparison to see where I am with my leak. Then we can proceed more quickly with the referral getting me back on my feet.
It’s comforting to have Dr Wright on my side, she knows my medical history and can act quickly to help. She also takes care of my husband and son as well. She and her staff are a blessing to our family.
