A true life-saver

Dr Podell saved my life. Literally. After a handful of PSAs at or around 4, he encouraged me to see a urologist who dismissed my high scores since I showed no other symptoms. After not being convinced everything was fine, he referred me to a second urologist who took a different approach despite his skepticism and did a biopsy. The result? Aggressive prostate cancer at the age of 52. Gleason score of 7 but no spread. Nearly four years later and following my prostatectomy, I visit Dr. Podell at least once a year now and every time thank him for saving my life.
