They were right.....Dr Timony cares

We were at the beach in March of 2019 celebrating our anniversary with our children and grands, and on the last day, a Sunday, I woke up not feeling well. Actually feeling poorly. Well, honestly, I thought I was going to die. I lost consciousness and my family immediately called 911. Three EMTs came right away, asked a few questions, which I was unable to answer, and they whisked me away to the ER in the nearby town.

My husband and daughter followed. Upon arrival, the ER doctor asked more questions, and though I was more coherent, I was still a bit addled. When the doctor asked what meds I was on, I couldn't tell him. I had them listed in my cell phone, but didn't have it with me. My husband had Dr Tracy Timony's cell number and didn't hesitate to call her. She and her husband were traveling on vacation in the mountains, but she answered her phone, explained she had to get to a spot where there was internet. She called back from a fast food place within moments and spoke with the ER doc at length.

From tests and consultation, ER doctor and Dr Timony diagnosed my situation. I was advised to stay in the hospital overnight, but I just wanted to go home, knowing I could see Dr Timony on Monday morning, which I did. She explained everything to me very carefully and changed my medication which completely alleviated the problem!

During my first meeting with Dr Timony 3 years ago, she asked why I wanted to change doctors. I replied, "Because I'm well now, and if that ever changes, I want to be in your care." It did change. Thank goodness I was in Dr Timony's care. Even on vacation, she was there when I needed her.
