Thanksgiving Nightmare

After having been up all night the night before Thanksgiving (food poisoning? bad stomach bug?), I called Dr. Susanna Thach on her personal, emergency line early Thanksgiving morning. I recognized what an imposition it was to reach out on a holiday, but felt some of the circumstances made it necessary. Dr. Thach was very understanding and called in a prescription to our hospital pharmacy. Later on Thanksgiving day she sent me to the ER where I remained until after midnight. She followed along and monitored the situation (various tests, etc.) with the doctors in the hospital and throughout the following weekend. I felt like I got great care, despite the fact that it was a holiday, and remain very appreciative!
