Thanks, Dr. Hilty, YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!

To say something nice about my physician, Dr. Stephen Hilty, should only take a minute but how do you begin to describe a man that has been such an integral part of my life for the past 15 years. I started seeing Dr. Hilty in 1999. His practice was new and he was eager and brimming with tools and knowledge that were waiting to be applied. I certainly have tested his skills and knowledge, probably to the level of total exasperation. I like so many of his patients are now in the Golden Years. Well, he has made those years so much easier! He is compassionate, kind and always goes the one extra step. His dedication to his patients goes far beyond the normal doctors' office hours, much to the detriment of his family and social life. On more than one occasion, I have spoken with him in the early evening for almost an hour by phone and on more than one night an after 10:30 PM hospital room visit. I frequently use emails as a method of communication with Dr. Hilty and I always, always receive a response if not immediately within very few hours. A fellow physician described him as the best diagnostician in San Luis Obispo County. He is the doctors, doctors and I feel very, very fortunate to have him as my doctor.
