Thank you, one and all!

My husband and I are celebrating milestone birthdays this year (70) and really thinking about our mortality in ways both silly and serious. For example: if we buy new luggage, will it last until we die? Should we sell our house and reduce our belongings so it will be easier for our kids? (BTW, the answer to both is who cares?). There is one decision that we really do care about - keeping Ned Legare as our physician. Knowing that our lives are literally in Ned Legares hands, something I remind him of on occasion, is a source of comfort. We know he is in a partnership with us, to help us live the healthiest possible lives for as long as possible. He is smart, caring, a good teacher and very patient. He is our doctor and our friend. We could not ask for more.

We cannot end this note without mentioning Louanne who has the answers for everything and minds the front desk with a friendly smile. The rest of the staff - especially the phlebotomist who never misses - is just great. We actually look forward to appointments, Thank you, one and all!
