THANK YOU DR. SHINDER FOR YOUR PATIENCE,PERSEVERANCE,AND CARING

Having been a patient of Dr. Shinder for some time, I am used to her being both thorough, caring and always available. However, one particular incident stands out in my mind. I have had Parkinson's for several years and, therefore, have several doctors including a neurologist. While my symptoms vary from day to day, at one point they became so severe I could barely move. A call to my neurologist was answered with a three month wait to be seen. So, I called Dr. Shinder and explained the situation. Her first impulse was to call the neurologist herself and get an appointment for me. She fared no better than I did. She told me to come to her office that day. A physical examination showed no explanation for my symptoms. But she didn't give up. Instead she researched all the various medications I was taking and discovered one of the medications was much too high a dosage. Her recommendation was to modify the dosage and see if that would eliminate the current problem. A few days later all those severe symptoms were gone. While there is no cure right now for Parkinson's, I know I can count on Dr. Shinder when I need her.
