Thank you Dr. Pimentel!

In 2016 I suffered a ruptured small intestine followed by surgery to remove the affected small bowel segment. It was very painful and traumatic in those first few days following surgery, and I also developed Afib and fluid in my lungs during recovery that complicated my condition. But I can remember opening my eyes in ICU and seeing Dr. Pimentel standing there watching over me. I was in ICU for three days in serious condition, and Dr. Pimentel was there every day. I had such a sense of comfort and security seeing him there at the foot of my bed during those few days. Thank you Dr. Pimentel for being there when I needed you!
