Thank you for Dr. Matthew Velsmid

Two weeks after joining MDVIP, my husband encountered a medical emergency. My husband called me several times asking me the same question over again and again. I was just passing the doctors office and I ran inside to speak to Dr. Velsmid. He had my daughter in-law bring my husband to the office to evaluate him. I was terrified. The office staff, Aivee and Traci were so supportive and helpful. Dr. Velsmid evaluated my husband and said he needed further evaluation. He had an ambulance come to the office to take him to Danbury Hospital. This all happened in within 30 minutes. The staff at Danbury Hospital were amazing. Dr. Velsmid had sent all my husband’s medical history and evaluation. I was in the Emergency Department for less than 1 hour before receiving two phone calls . One from the Emergency Room attending and then Dr. Velsmid. My husband had an episode of transient global amnesia. My husband and I were reassured that this is a temporary condition and should be resolved within 24 hrs. Dr. Velsmid also recommended that my husband stop taking his prescribed sleep medication. My husband stopped the medication immediately. After this incident, we were so happy we signed up with Dr. Velsmid and MDVIP. We were treated with compassion, kindness and total professionalism. We were so happy with the care we have received and have shared our experience with Facebook friends and anyone looking for excellent medical care. It is worth every penny being proactive with our healthcare through Dr. Velsmid and MDVIP.
