Thank you, Dr. Maria Velasco

When I moved to Victoria, I wanted to find a family internist who was both experienced and young enough to have knowledge of the latest medical advances. I wanted a doctor who could see me through my advancing years. Dr. Maria Velasco’s name kept coming up, and even other medical professionals were recommending her as a top choice, many were using her themselves. I was blessed when she accepted me as a new patient. My medical treatment by her and her wonderful staff was excellent, and when she (and I) joined MDVIP, things got even better.
We patients who consider MDVIP as investment are in turn seeing MDVIP invest in its patients. It is truly a win-win situation. The personal care, no-wait appointments, additional lab work and imaging testing has kept my health above average. These are done on a yearly, routine basis as part of the program, and this more thorough testing has caught some problems that might never have been discovered with another doctor. Additionally, the results of these tests and lab work are quickly posted to my MDVIP private account so I can review them myself and compare them with past results.
At every visit, Dr. Velasco sits down with me in her office and goes over every single detail of my tests, explaining them in a way that’s easy for a layman to understand. She is always patient, answering every question, and is cheerful and a joy to be around.
Dr. Velasco and her staff are only a phone call away 24 hours a day. She has called me from her cell phone after hours just to check up on me. That is so very comforting, just knowing that if you need care, you don’t have to go to clinics or sit in waiting rooms for hours.
In addition, I frequently get emails from her and MDVIP with interesting stories and articles for improving my health.
