Dr Schubert, you became our primary care physician when you assumed Dr Trotter’s practice as he retired. You, Margot and the girls were always kind and responsive to us: to me, as one who does not do well with blood work, to our daughter, Robin, when she was not well while visiting us, and especially to Bob, at the discovery that the unusual growth on his torso was a form of Lymphoma. I was especially grateful for the time you met us on a weekend before Christmas (in your T/shirt, the Walmart bag on the counter!) because Bob was having trouble walking. You referred him to MUSC where he had good care through treatment and his eventual death, now already more than 2 years ago!
