Support and Caring

Last year my husband was in the hospital for seven weeks. We had been told he was in end-stage heart failure from a surgical mistake 12 years ago. He now has a left ventricular assist device and is doing well. While he was in the hospital the first four weeks. Dr. Hartig called me every day to check in and see how he was doing and answer my questions for me. For the next three weeks, he called me at least every other day. He was truly my lifeline. He was supportive, kind and caring and I will never ever forget what that support meant to me. He is a wonderful doctor and I am so grateful to have him in our lives. Thank you, Dr. Hartig
