Started out Good

Started out good with Dr. Dellwood, but over the months deteriorated. I have chronic issues that the doctor didn't seem to understand or care about. I am looking for solutions to my problems in as fast a manner as possible. I never get a full nights sleep due to persistent abdominal pain, yet after months of describing my issues. I am in the same predicament. Doctor Dellwood is rude and unequipped to handle my issues. He was furious when I called to cancel an appointment due to being quite nauseous and unable to drive. You would think he could empathize with my situation, but was quite the opposite. I was extremely ill and afraid I may have the flu on top of my everyday problems. When I tried to reschedule I was quite sick, and in pain, and was treated badly by the staff. When I voiced my displeasure with the situation, I was given a new appointment two days later. When I showed up I was ambushed by the Doctor, and told I was being fired as a patient! I was expecting to have tests for the flu, but was refused treatment and sent home. This Doctor does not follow the outlines described by MDVIP. All my appointments were set to a rigid schedule. He told me longer appointments were a courtesy. 24 hour on call is not available, as was explained by him.... Had to go to the emergency room for treatment. I joined MDVIP for benefits that he viewed as optional. I will no longer use MDVIP and would advise anyone contemplating using Dr. Dellwood to absolutely run from this Doctor. Further, he didn't want me to see a specialist that I have been seeing for years. Didn't think I needed to, even though he admittedly never received or viewed all my records. I also suspect that he has more patients than he has let on to MDVIP. Said I was rude to his staff and late for appointments as a reason for firing me. Was late a ccouple of times, but wouldn't be a huge issue if he allowed the time that MDVIP advertises I would get. Overall this is a Doctor only in it for the money. I was nothing but a number..... This is my personal opinion and feelings.
