My idea of wanting to leave this world drug-free is becoming less realistic with age. As I get older, staying healthy is becoming ever so important. It seems that eating better, living healthier and taking supplements is not always enough. My incentive to sign up with Dr. Neil Okamura can be summarized in his specialty, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.). Turns out, he is as close to an integrative physician as I could want. Dr. Os expertise and professionalism had been tested by my wife for several years. She then recommended him to me when I realized it was time to start taking hypertension meds.
Our introductory visit was about my expectations from an open-minded doctor, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear about his wellness plan for me and how close it was to my own.
I am elated to be under his care for the past three years. The experience is more like being in a close-knit family. He is always thorough, never rushed and has my best interest in mind. The staff is equally nice and very accommodating. I Could not ask for more!
