she is an excellent physician

I have been going to Dr. Massar for many, many, years for a reason, which can perhaps be summarized by simply saying she is an excellent physician, but she is so much more than that as she genuinely cares about me as a patient and a person. Unlike many doctors who rely solely on their stethoscope and perhaps a test or two, before saying I'll call something in to your pharmacy and see you in a month, Janna actually listens to me as a patient and responds to any questions I might have about my symptoms, tests, medications, and what needs to be done so when I leave I understand my problem, tests, medications, and what needs to be done. She will later follow up with a phone call to see how I'm doing which is almost unheard of in the medical profession.
The only reason I was able to take a photograph of my oldest daughter when she received her Doctorate is because Janna cared. Nine hours before my flight to NC I realized I needed a statement from my doctor in order to utilize inflight oxygen so, in a state of panic, I called Janna about 11pm on a Friday night to ask her if I emailed her the form could she fill it out and return it to me and less than an hour later, I had the form, went to bed, got up early, and had a delightful time in NC as a result of Janna's caring and accessibility.
Rather than say anything more, let me close by simply saying Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for everything you've done to keep me going.
