She is Always There

Dr. Aisenberg is the kind of doctor I think everyone needs and deserves. I have a lot of medical issues. She is always a message or phone call away. I have never had to wait longer than a half hour for a response. Usually though it is within 5 to 10 minutes. Her staff tries to make appointments within 24 hours. Her are just two of many memories that stand out when she went above and beyond what I expected. The first time that stands out is when she was on an overseas Christmas ski trip with her family. I had forgotten this and had a medical need come up. In the midst of her family time, she responded to my message within 30 minutes. I felt touched because I believe she values me as a patient and a person. The second time is when I was having extreme problems with my weight. I lost 77 unintenial pounds, we were both without answers. She helped coordinate a lot of tests, appointments and consults with my other doctors until we had exhausted all means for an answer. My weight eventually level off, however she had me check in on a regular basis to keep an eye on things. During my annual physicals through MDVIP, I love how she is able to take the time to go through my test results. She takes the time to answer a list of questions I bring in as well. I could go on about the professionalism, love, devotion and care she has for her patients in MDVIP. If you are a member of this organization I am sure you experience this as well with her or your doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Aisenberg for about 16 years. When she announced she was going to the MDVIP program, it wasn't even a choice for me. I would follow her to where ever she practiced medicine. I have fallen in love with the program and the amount of time it allows her to spend with me. Along with the flexibility, and short response time to medical needs. I would love it she could be a Richmond Top Doc, she certainly deserves it. I would be remiss if I did not mention Kaitlyn, her nurse. She is very professional and comforting to me when I am there for a sick visit. When I am there for my physical or a non sick visit, we laugh and joke while she keeps her professionalism. She and Dr. Aisenberg make a great team. Thank- you for allowing me to share with you about Dr. Laura Aisenberg.
