Saved my bones

Dr. Lillian Cohn years ago astutely noticed from a simple urine test that my calcium uptake was abnormal. She sent me to. an endocrinologist, who, after scans, did surgery and discovered that I had an extra parathyroid gland that had gone bonkers. Calcium was being leached from my bones. I am grateful to Dr Cohn for being so observant. Today I am a strong, athletic 78-year-old who continues to hike, bike, ski and do aerobics.
