RIGHT AWAY!

One of the moments I will always remember about my relationship with Dr. DiSalvo came right away after my husband and I became MDVIP members. I had literally just had my introductory meeting with him the day before. While doing pre-prep for a meal, I was using a new peeler and boy did I peel more than the potato! It was a Saturday afternoon and COVID was still a big concern, so I did not want to go to the Emergency Room or an Urgent Care Center unless I had to. I could not stop the bleeding without a lot of pressure (electrical tape and a lot of paper towels) and wasn't sure if it could or should be stitched. I reluctantly texted Dr. DiSalvo and he called immediately. He asked all the right questions to discern that I could take care of it, with the right products, and clearly explained what I should do. He was caring, totally unbothered by the timing of my text and, with his signature kindness and fun, reassured me about the situation and left me confident about how to proceed. He ALWAYS makes time for us and is genuinely interested in how we are doing as people, not just patients! We are blessed to have him as our doctor. Thank you, Doc!
