Retired Teacher

We moved from Charlotte NC to Fuquay- Varina in June of 1994. My health was not good and I was taking several medications for joint and muscle pain. Dr. Thomas Darrell took me off all non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) and encouraged healthy lifestyle changes. All his suggestions have been beneficial to me and I am grateful for all his medical care these years. He listens with understanding. I feel he has guided me through 30 years of ageing by referring me to the appropriate specialist as the need came up. I have been active in exercise programs, weight loss programs and have retired twice. I was caregiver in our home for my mother for 6 years and my husband for 4 years. I am thankful I was able to cared for them through their strokes and dementia.
