Relatable Connection

Dr. Barmach has been my physician for15+ (?) years, and a few times he has shared a little personal information about himself that has made him much more relatable to me . . .
The accomplishments of his son in N C; his devastating fall while attempting to investigate a construction problem; the fact that he smoked 2 packs a day; the life altering surgery that he expressed as " it was hung on the wall ".
These disclosures has made him closer to me, as I am able to have an emotional connection that otherwise would have put him in the same category as an ATM machine !
Lastly, lest I not forget to mention that when I told him that I wanted to live to 100, he said " Good luck " !
