The reason I’m here
I first met Dr. Timothy Fignar in the year of 2004. He had just taken over the practice of my previous physician. Dr. Hebert. Dr Fignar is compassionate and caring and very thorough when I made an appointment dealing with chest pains and depression he had sent me to the hospital to have a stress test done And the stress test for some reason did not show there was any problems a week or so later I called him and told him that I was getting a ratcheting chest tighten in my chest. He had me come in to the building he had just started, renovating his existing office space, and was leasing another space at the other end of the building. Without hesitation, he brought me in. We went through some procedures, and he advised me to see my families cardiologist, which I did the following day and we did , the angiogram that he had requested they found four blockages in the main arteries of my heart at 85%. My cardiologist has stated that he is never seen for equally blocked main arteries like he did in my angiogram, and he shut down the angiogram. I went into the room and they discussed open heart surgery, and within two days the surgery was complete. Dr Fignar, as well as my cardiologist with follow ups, would lead to another open heart surgery where the capillaries had started to close and they did a procedure called TMR where they put 51 holes with a laser in my heart, this was in September 2006 moving forward with annual visits with Dr Fignar always concerned and always doublechecking and keeping a strong hand and a sharp eye on how I was doing and how I was dealing with everything he always make personal phone calls following up after any visit and when he switched to MD VIP I was more than happy to join this association. The only thing I didn’t realize is that for the previous 12 years I already thought my MD was a VIP and always treated me as a VIP never knew the difference even to this day, I am so grateful for innovation with modern medicine and I strongly believe that if it wasn’t for him, I was a snow shovel away from having a massive heart attack and probably not living the life that I do today which is pretty damn normal for someone who’s gonna be turning 65 living with very few basically no restrictions his approach to medicine with me has always been hands-on and what do you think and let’s try this, and we’ve never failed together. You could say I trust him with my life which I do and in return, he just asked for truthfulness with the answers that I give them with his questions I’ve been very proud to recommend Dr. Timothy Fignar to my friends and family members
