Rapid Response

After arriving in Honolulu for vacation, feeling fine, I started to feel a little down and congested the next day. I tested negative for covid using the at-home antigen test kit. I tested again later in the week, and was positive. I was able to text Dr. Navarro and secure a script for the anti-viral Paxlovid at a Walgreens pharmacy not far from where I was staying. Fortunately my neighbor picked up the script and I started the treatment just an hour or two after texting Dr. Navarro. Given my age, despite overall health and wellness, I'm sure I would have fared much worse as the disease waxed and waned had I not gotten the script so quickly. He did a great job.
