My doctor joined MDVIP because he wanted to be able to spend more time with his patients and not be confined to the brief time table that was dictated by the HMO that he was a part of. Some of his patients were not happy with his decision and voiced their opposition to him. He had to make a difficult decision because he wanted to be the best care giver that he could be.
