A patient not a number

Dr Whitmer suggested a precautionary heart test for my husband who was not suffering any heart symptoms. We scheduled and completed the test. Within three hours we received a phone call from Dr Whitmer giving us the results and immediately finding us a cardiologist. Within eight days we had visited the cardiologist, had additional heart tests and completed a heart cath procedure. Having been with other doctors in the past and knowing just how slow the medical process normally moves we were very impressed with the speed this all progressed. I’m sure this was because of Dr Whitmer’s actions. We felt like the only patient through this process not just like a number in a medical system. Thank you.
