Patient Dedication

The last 6 to 8 months of 2023 my health began failing at a consistent rate with no specific diagnosis found. I was in and out of Sanford for a few weeks and Dr. Michael Lillestol would round on me every morning at 6:30am when in hospital. Even though he couldn’t change any of my orders; he could make recommendations to the hospitalist assigned to me. Also, I ended up being an inpatient at Mayo (Rochester) for 34 days and found out he had been following my care there and knew exactly what I had experienced throughout my Mayo inpatient stay. Dr Lillestol is very dedicated to his patients, provides awesome patient care as he truly cares about each of his patients. It radiates through and through. I wouldn’t want anyone other than Dr Lillestol providing my medical care. He will refer you to a specialist if he feels your medical condition is outside his expertise. Dr Lillestol is a loving and caring physician to his patients which is very difficult to find these days from the pools of doctors rendering what they feel is good patient care. My husband and I are blessed to have Dr Lillestol as our primary care provider.
