Patient Care Above and Beyond

Four years ago this week I was admitted to the hospital with a small bowel blockage that required surgery. Unfortunately the surgery went sideways and I ended up staying in the hospital for 14 days. During that time Dr. Beato came to see me at least twice each day. He was actively involved in the follow up care and consulted on a regular basis with my surgeon. It was one of the roughest times in my life and Dr. Beato's compassion, empathy, and personal interest helped my wife and me get through it. Dr. Beato is a phenomenal example of what I interpret is the mission of MDVIP.
