Over and Above

My present doctor is Dr. Wen Yang who I admire and in whom I truly have faith, but I have recently moved from Tucson to Houston, TX so I don’t know her as well as I knew my VIP doctor in Tucson who was my doctor for a few years and I would love to tell you about her. Her name is Dr. Rebecca Osborne. I was diagnosed with PMR and she sent me to a rheumatologist immediately. As what happens with some PMR patients, I developed giant cell emeritis, only known when I awakened one morning blind. She IMMEDIATELY contacted my rheumatologist and she made arrangements for high doses of prednisone, whether in the rheumatologists office or hers so I wouldn’t need to go to the hospital. Her quick actions saved my eyesight. She was always available through the portal or directly to her cell phone. She never made my questions frivolous, always responding positively. I will never forget her!
