Our trusted advocate

With our life changing so much physically as well as our world today changing , Fred and I are so thankful to have such a trusted advocate as Dr John Borders.
He has guided us in helpful ways that certainly
we would not have known how to navigate with out his experience and knowledge.
Once when surgery was suggested for Fred he suggested we take another route and it is one that was so wise.
Once when Fred had a bad infection he told us to go immediately to the infectious disease doctor straight away and that doctor just happened to be by the office on his off day and saw Fred.
Once when I needed the care of another specialist and couldn’t get in for weeks and weeks he negotiated that for me so my pain could be looked after and has made my life so much easier.
On being summon for jury duty at the age of almost 85 with limited mobility , that parking in a garage and going across streets to other buildings on a walker would be very difficult ,he immediately wrote a letter the same day explaining the hardship it would be for me.
He has sent me for diagnostic testing to make sure all was being done for me that I needed.
I so trust his opinion that I always want to run things by him from procedures to prescriptions before I feel comfortable doing them that have been suggested by other health care providers.
It’s not only his concern for our well being but his kindness even when his news of the outcome of test that is not good, and is hard to hear.
We are so thankful in a time when doctors are so stretched for time we have Dr Borders and MDVIP.
