Dr Johnson is a person that will go above and beyond the normal to help his patients. I experienced this when my husband was having repeated episodes of aspiration pneumonia over the course of a 2 year period. My husband lost his ability to swallow from radiation damage after being treated for throat cancer 4 years ago After being hospitalized several times, one critical careflight, and the need to be on feeding tubes, Dr Johnson researched the best facility possible to help. Referred him to world renowned MD Anderson I’m Houston TX. This facility was amazing. Upon seeing him the first day we got there, they had specialized doctors examine him for surgical intervention. A total laryngectomy was done a few weeks later. Only a few months later and he is back to being healthy and starting to eat by mouth again. Speaking will be taught and will be different from normal. But, we know without Dr Johnson’s help he would have died Dr Johnson was immediately available when I either texted or called, often on weekends and after hours, to help call in meds or just answer questions
He also has been awesome caring for me in this extremely stressful time. The stress created a depleted vitamin deficiency which he figured out right away. I am now feeling better and my labs came back better than ever
