My husband and I became patients of Lora Kin Meadows, M.D. about 4 years ago when she joined the MDVIP office in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She had large shoes to fill; we were concerned as we had been patients of Patricia North, MD for many years. However, “Dr Kim” has exceeded our expectations in every way! She is an expert in her profession, always current with medical trends, diseases, symptoms, and new treatments.

"Dr Kim" is always very positive and genuine. She is an excellent listener, finds amicable solutions, and shares our successes with accolades and joy. She is our cheerleader! When facing any physical and/or mental challenge, her positive response always is, “I can help you with that.” And she does with her endless energy. When my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, she recommended we see a Parkinson’s specialist in Florida. When I wanted to explore alternatives to knee replacements, she connected me to a more holistic orthopedist and a knee-expert physical therapist and guided me through a weight program. With her guidance, I lost 20 pounds, continued daily knee exercises, obtained gel injections, and no surgery!
Besides being an excellent approachable physician, Dr Kim is an amazing motivator and a great leader with a dedicated staff. I always look forward to my appointments, knowing I am in good hands with "Dr Kim" and her staff.
