Ongoing Support
On December 19 I came down with a heavy cough and felt terrible. Needless to say, my Christmas and New Year plans had to be cancelled. Dr. Walter Morris's office closed for the holidays on December 20 in order to give the staff a needed vacation. How fortunate I was to have Dr. Morris communicate with me and order prescriptions throughout the entire holiday. He also saw me in the office on January 2 when the office reopened. I have somewhat compromised lungs so getting attention as quickly as possible is important. While my recovery took 21 days, it could have taken much longer had I not had Dr. Morris help me at the onset. This was not a life and death situation but I felt I needed to say thank you in this way. It was important for this 80 year old patient to feel her primary care physician was available to assist even if it disrupted his holidays with family.
