Dr. Meinhold became my MDVIP affiliated physician shortly after I had returned from living in New Zealand for five years. I'm a middle-aged man with a significant number of chronic health conditions. In New Zealand, I was ridiculed by physicians for the amount of medication I have to take to control my chronic health conditions. This ridicule combined with the socialized healthcare system in New Zealand left me untrusting of physicians to have my best interest at heart. That changed from the moment I met Dr. Meinhold. He took the time to get to know me and not just my chronic health conditions. I've never been to see him where he hasn't done a thorough review of my medications, test results, and my general well being, in addition to the reason for the visit. He has a remarkable bedside manner and is one of the most personable physicians I have ever met.
