One of the best!

Dr. Walend has been my doctor for approximately 20 years. She has always been there for me, in good times and in bad. We have celebrated weight loss journeys and she made the time to meet with me and fully explain my breast cancer diagnosis after my gynecologist basically told me I had cancer and to call a surgeon. Dr. Walend was there throughout the process and she performed as many of my pre-op test that she could. Nine years later, and she is still supporting my oncologist with providing lab work, imaging and any other thing he requests. She is the first doctor that I have had that I do not dread seeing. I actually look forward to it! I know she is just a phone call, email or text away and I am so appreciative.
