An Old Friend

I'm probably one of Dr. Weiner's younger patients at 36 years of age. That withstanding, the doctor never wags his finger at me. He treats me like an old friend. He is sincerely interested in my life as a whole, not just my health. But he's no slouch either when it comes to giving it to me straight about my eating and lifestyle habits. It's great conversing with him and his relaxed demeanor always puts me at ease. In all of my adult life, this is the first time that I've felt comfortable referring to a physician as "my doctor".
