Not Just a Doctor!

Dr. Bannister, you are not just an ordinary doctor, you are an extraordinary individual! I have been seeing you for over 20 years which is very scary but when we have that long of relationship, you get to know each other. You have been by my side in so many chapters of my life and have helped me through so many ways I am sure you are not even aware of. An ordinary doctor would not take extra time to comfort me when I cried as my world was falling apart, or give me assurance when I shared some of my biggest fears, or listen to me as a Mom and gave insight or laugh and celebrate with me when I shared my successes. I am excited to see where this new journey takes us! You truly care about your patients and are able to relate to them. I cannot imagine entering my 50's without you by my side. With all the changes that are ahead of me health wise, mentally and personally, I know that I will be able to face these challenges and milestones with one of the best! Cheers to 20+ more years!
