Not an easy patient

I am so lucky to have Dr Paul Smith as my primary care physician. I am one of those people who know what I should be doing to improve my health but have trouble following through. Dr. Smith has been so patient with me and encouraging. He has a special way to make you feel important and he truly wants the best for his patients.
One of his standouts in patient care that comes to mind is when I was having great difficulty walking or even raising my arms from stiffness. He suspected Polymyalgia rheumatica and it was confirmed with a blood test showing my C-Reactive Protein, Quant of 60. He put me on prednisolone and within hours I was able to move again. He tapered my dose down to zero Prednisolone within months and I have had no re-occurrence of PMR since 2019.
I also appreciate how he makes sure I am up on all my immunizations.
