Never a day off

Around a year ago, when I was only 85, I had a fever and tested positive for Covid-19. Of course, I couldn't get sick during normal office hours, so it was Saturday morning and I was in a bit of a panic. A call to Dr. Salinas' office resulted in a staff member telling me that he was hiking and would call me back. He soon did, even though he had been in a "dead" zone and had to find a signal. Very shortly thereafter, the pharmacy had my prescription ready and within a day or two I was fine. The fact that he had monitored my vaccinations and kept me healthy before this, was in my favor.
