Dr. Spafford has been my GP since the 90's for annual physicals and everything else that came along. I was impressed from day 1 that he was the attending team physician for high school football games, a nice community service. His after hours responsiveness harkens to another era in family practice when doctors made house calls. I studiously try to not abuse the privilege of texting after hours. On those few occasions I have he has been so gracious. I trust his lengthy, patient explanations and knowledge sharing. There is no substitute to seeing a physician who knows you and cares.
