My Story as told by Liz Bushnell

Healthy till age 9. At 10 was diagnosed with RA (rheumatoid arthritis) age 13 diagnosed with UC (ulcerative colitis). RA Dr put me on 2 buffered aspirin ever 6 hours. This caused signs of UC at 13, with bloody diarrhea. Sick all the time with UC till doctors removed my colon & rectum at age 18. 32 abdominal surgeries later, 2 new hips and a new knee, doing pretty good. Got Covid 6/13/22, that brought me down. I’m on oxygen 24/7 for 2-6 months. Ready to get back on the tennis court, biking and playing with my 4 dogs💟🐾
